Duneland Soccer Club was established in 1984. It’s mission then, as now, is to give kids in the Duneland community the opportunity to play this internationally loved sport. From their Inhouse Club (U6 & U8) to their Travel Club (U10, U12 and U14), many of their kids have graduated from our Club and go to play on Varsity and College teams. Duneland Diamond has been in Chesterton since the 70's. It was originally a stand-alone, in-house senior league that bridged the gap between little league and high school baseball. DD became affiliated with Babe Ruth in the 2000's. Please visit www.dunelanddiamond.com for additional information.
State Park Little League (SPLL) was established in 1953. The program has grown to a nearly 400 player, 24+ team league offering multiple divisions of play. The Duneland Flyers organization strives to provide quality baseball instruction to youth players to develop strong baseball players, great teammates and quality young men/women. Their practices are located at facilities throughout the area, including several Duneland School Corporation facilities, Dogwood Park in Chesterton, Hawthorn Park in Porter and even Valparaiso School Facilities. The Chesterton Basketball Club is a feeder program for boys in grades K-8 under the direction of the basketball program staff. The league is an opportunity to develop as an overall basketball player within the Chesterton Basketball program. Practices consists of skill development and team concepts with one game per week.
