IV. Preliminary Hearing

Robert Brown - requesting a variance to replace a freestanding sign in a B-3 Zone. A second variance is requested to increase the display area of an advertising sign from zero sq. feet to 300 sq. feet. A third variance is requested to reduce the separation of a billboard sign from one freestanding sign to less than 200 feet. A fourth variance is requested to increase the overall height of sign from 18 feet to 35 feet. Petition 08-07

 

Elizabeth J. Zube - requesting a variance to reduce a front yard setback from 28 feet to 21 feet a variance of 7 feet for the purpose of adding a covered front porch. Petition 08-08

 

Lake Erie Land Company and Coffee Creek Development I, llc - requesting to modify a Development Standart Variance granted February 13, 1997. Petition 08-09

V. Public Hearing

Luke Oil Company - requesting a variance to construct an off site monument sign to serve a retail space located at 524 Indian Boundary Road under current zoning this sign is not allowable. A second variance is requested to construct a freestanding monument sign havaing a gross surface area of 100 square feet per side a total of 200 square feet where the ordinance allows no freestanding sign therefore, a variance of 200 square feet. A third variance is requested to construct a freestanding sign located 141.5 feet from the McDonalds super size sign, 58 feet from McDonalds medium digital sign and 174.7 feet from the Indian Oak Mall sign where the ordinance requires 200 feet of separation therefore, a variance of 58.5 feet, 142 feet and 25.3 feet from said signs. A fourth variance is requested to construct a freestanding sign located 6 feet from the north property line, 9 feet from the west property line where the ordinance requires 10 feet therefore a variance of 4 feet and 1 foot. A fifth variance is requested to construct a freestanding sign with 2 display surfaces totaling 200 square fee (100 square feet per side), where the ordinance allows 120 square feet of total display surface therefore a variance of 80 square feet. CVS Pharmacy #06910 LLC - Petition as submitted Monday, May 5, 2008 is deficient. Petition 08-06

CVS Pharmacy #06910 LLC requesting a variance to install a 75.25 square foot "CVS Pharmacy" wall sign. The ordinance allowing up to a 60 sq. feet sign therefore, a variance of 15.25 sq. feet. A second variance is requested to install a 52.29 sq. foot "CVS Pharmacy" wall sign. The ordinance allows an additional wall sign at 50 % of principal sign, therefore a variance of 22.29 sq. feet. A third variance is requested to install 19.56 sq. foot "Minute Clinic" wall sign. The ordinance allows one wall sign therefore, a variance to allow one additional wall sign. The ordinance allows a maximum of 60 sq. feet therefore, a variance of 19.56 sq. feet. A fifth variance is requested to install 19/56 sq. foot :Minute Clinic" wall sign. The ordinance allows one wall sign therefore, a variance to allow an additional wall sign. A sixth variance is requested to install 19.56 sq. feet "Minute Clinic" wall sign. The ordinance allows a maximum of 60 sq. feet therefore a variance of 11.85 sq. feet. A seventh variance is requested to install one 29.86 sq. feet "Drive-Thru Pharmacy" sign. The ordinance allows one wall sign therefore, a variance to allow an additional wall sign. An eighth variance is requested to install one 29.86 sq. foot "Drive Thru Pharmacy" sign. The ordinance allows a maximum of 60 sq. feet, therefore a variance 29.86 sq. feet. A ninth variance is requested to install one 26.47 sq. feet "Drive-Thru Pharmacy" sign. The ordinance allows one wall sign, therefore a variance to allow an additional wall sign. A tenth variance is requested to install one 26.47 sq. foot "Drive-Thru Pharmacy" sign. The ordinance allows maximum of 60 sq. feet therefore a variance of 26.47 sq. feet. An eleventh variance is requested to install 7.75 sq. foot "Drive-Thru Pharmacy" sign. The ordinance allows a maximum of 7.75 sq. foot "Drive-Thru Pharmacy" sign. The ordinance allows a maximum of one wall sign therefore, a variance to allow an additional wall sign. A thirteenth variance is requested to install an electronic reader board on the freestanding sign, where the ordianace does not allow flashing signs. A fourteenth variance is requested to install a second feetstanding sign, where the site will already have a freestandin sign therefore , a variance of one sign.
