Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of the Town of Chesterton, Porter County, Indiana,
that the Town Council has preliminary determined to issue bonds to provide funds for the cost
of road, street and sidewalk improvements and repair throughout the Town, and incidental
expenses in connection therewith, including the expenses necessary to be incurred in connection with the issuance of bonds (collectively, the “Project”). The Town will meet at the Town Hall,
726 Broadway, Chesterton, Indiana, at 7:00 p.m. on June 25, 2018, to consider the following
additional appropriation the Town Council considers necessary to meet the extraordinary

An appropriation in the amount of $1,800,000 to provide funds for the Project.
The funds to meet such additional appropriation are to be provided by the
issuance and sale of bonds by the Town.

existing budget and tax levy, and an extraordinary emergency for such appropriation exists by
reason of the need to fund the projects.

respect to said additional appropriation.
