Westchester Public Library invites those who enjoy reading thought-provoking books to attend the Books Make You Think Discussion Group. The group will meet on Thursday, October 19, from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., at the Thomas Branch’s Bertha Wood Meeting Room, 200 W. Indiana Ave., Chesterton.

This month we will be discussing The Heart of the Matter by Graham Greene. Considered one of the top 100 books of the 20th century, it describes a life-changing moral crisis for the protagonist, Henry Scobie, a British military official responsible for security in the West African Colony where he is stationed.

Next month we will meet on Thursday, November 16 and discuss The Cof ee Trader by David Liss.

Register at the Thomas Branch Reference Desk or in the upstairs Computer Classroom in person or via phone, (219) 926-7696. Copies of the book will be available for checkout at the Thomas Branch. For more information, contact Dan in IT Department, dan@wpl.lib.in.us.
